Organoleptic characteristics: dry red wine, with a brick red color, it is distinguished by a complex and intense bouquet, with nuances of sweet fruit – ripe plums and figs – that develop over time, accompanied in the finish by fine aromas of spices and saffron.
The deep and velvety taste recalls the same fruits present in the aroma, with ample notes of delicate tannins and a sensual and persistent aftertaste. Aged for 18 months in French oak barriques.
Decant for 30 minutes before serving.
The recommended temperature for consumption is +18/+20°С.
It pairs well with red meat dishes, beef, lamb, hot dishes with spicy sauce, pasta with ragù, mouldy cheese, Roquefort, Gorgonzola, Stilton, roast game stuffed with figs, pheasant rolls in particular.
